Wild Animal Robots!

Combine your love of LEGO^® building, animals, and computers!  Each week, your child will build a wild animal that will be connected to the computer for a hands-on interactive experience.   Your child will enjoy bringing their roaring lion, flying bird, or hungry alligator to life while being introduced to robotics! 

This program uses the proven LEGO Education WeDo curriculum that will broaden your child’s understanding of basic science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.  This program will not only enrich children from an educational perspective, it will also reinforce teamwork.  Each animal is built in pairs, using a “building buddy” system in which children work together toward a common goal. This type of cooperative learning strengthens communication skills and also builds self-esteem.

Children do not take the machines home with them.

Parents are welcome, but not required, to participate during the last 10 minutes of class to see the creative energy in action and also learn more about the concepts covered during the program.
